First Method
Whether you are a student or a beginner, I hope you can easily open any archive file.
- Open WinRAR software
- Click the (Wizard) button on the top toolbar.
- Choose “Unpack an archive” option and click
- Click to select the archive you want to unpack and press
- Finally, click . But press to select another folder where the files will be unpacked
That’s all. Now see all the unpacked files in the selected folder.
Second Method
- Right-click the mouse on the archive file you want to open or extract.
- Mouse over the WinRAR app, you will see four options on the right side.
- Click on Extract to “sample\”
That’s all.
Here you will see the following three more options. You can use any option at your convenience.
- Open with WinRAR – Click “Open with WinRAR” to open the ZIP/RAR file or view the files inside it without extracting.
- Extract files… – Customize the advanced option and extract the archive file.
- Extract here – Extract in the current folder without creating a separate folder. But I don’t recommend it. It can be confusing to distinguish archive files from other files.
