About JDownloader

JDownloader is a free, open-source download manager. It allows you to quickly and efficiently download files from sites like Megaupload, Mediafire and Rapidshare.

Many times the files that you want to download are very large like movies, games, music, programs, etc. They are divided into several parts, each one with its respective link.

Luckily JDownloader 2 was designed to automate the entire download process and do it for us, relieving us of this hassle while we can surf the Internet, play a PC game, sleep, or just go out and do our things.

JDownloader is completely free and written entirely in Java. So it works not only on Windows, but also on GNU/Linux, Mac, and any system with a Java virtual machine installed.

It downloads several files in parallel (as long as they are from different servers). It also supports CCF, RSDF and DLC link formats.

JDownloader full version has some advantages over its competitors. In the first place, it supports a large number of plugins, which means that thanks to its community of developers, functions.

It also comes with an add-on for the most popular browser. It also allows you to pause and resume downloads, although only on some of the servers.
